I grew up in a home surrounded by photos, there were photos in frames and hung on the walls all over the house. As a kid I loved looking at pictures of my parents and family when they were younger. I was always asking my parents questions - that’s how I learned our family history.
These photos gave me the chance to know my grandparents, even if they weren’t around for me to meet. Photos are like a time capsule of my families journey and history. It let me keep some part of my family alive in me, it allowed me to share moments of joy even if I wasn't present when those photos were taken.
Photos are like pieces of the past that you can look back on that triggers a memory of a moment that will never be forgotten.
